Introduction:
Xiao Liu Ren is a traditional Chinese divination method, said to be simplified from Qimen Dunjia by Zhuge Kongming during the Three Kingdoms period. Xiao Liu Ren uses six positions: Da An, Liu Lian, Su Xi, Chi Kou, Xiao Ji, and Kong Wang, which are arranged on the index finger, middle finger, and ring finger. The time is calculated in the order of month, day, and hour. Da An, Su Xi, and Xiao Ji are considered auspicious, while the others are considered inauspicious. The corresponding positions on the palm are as follows:
Index Finger | Middle Finger | Ring Finger |
---|---|---|
Liu Lian | Su Xi | Chi Kou |
Da An | Kong Wang | Xiao Ji |
The specific corresponding positions are as follows:
Just remember: red is good, green is not good, this is important, and remember to use the left hand.
Practical Operation:
Once you know whether it's good or bad, you can proceed with the practical operation. As long as you can count, you can do it.
- First, know the lunar month and day, and the current time. For example, today is the 5th day of the 2nd lunar month, around 8 o'clock in the morning, which is the Chen hour.
- Then, refer to the palm image above and start counting from position 1. If the month is 2, count clockwise twice to reach the green position 2.
- Then, count from position 2. This is important. The new starting position is 2, count 5 times, and you will reach the green position 6.
- Finally, count the hour. Chen hour is the fifth hour, so count clockwise 5 times from position 6, and you will reach the green position. This is called Chi Kou, indicating that your luck is not very good during this hour.
